La reine est radieuse et sublimement élégante mais pour ce qui est de la gouverneure générale, on ne peut pas dire que c'est réussi. Je ne sais trop si c'est dû à la robe elle-même ou à cette coiffure horrible ou à ses chaussures (est-ce qu'elle a un genre d'escarpins ou aurait-elle conservé ses bottes?), il n'en reste pas moins que c'est plutôt indéfinissable comme style.

حذفJulie Payette est une scientifique et une astronaute, une femme exceptionnelle qui est, semble-t-il très agréable à côtoyer. Pour le reste, elle a été mal conseillée ou ne s' en soucis guère.
حذفAbsolument. Je l'admire énormément. Et je soupçonne qui vous avez raison que ce n'important pas pour celle, mais elle représente le pays entire maintenant et elle doit faire attention à tout cela.

Les propos n'attaquent en rien les capacités exceptionnelles de celle-ci. La terre n'arrêtera pas de tourner parce que sa garde-robe et sa coiffure ne sont pas particulièrement seyantes et il est fort peu probable que nous ayons à dire: Houston, Houston, we have a problème! À la blague bien sûr!

ردحذفI think Julie Payette's dress might look slightly better without the black jacket which has the air of a librarian's cardigan about it.

ردحذفI'm Canadian and much as I admire Julie Payette's accomplishments, and much as I appreciate that she probably isn't inteested in fashion, it can't be so difficult to get a few simple and elegant evening dresses for the occasions when she is representing Canadians.
Beautiful! All of Mathilde's outfits have been beautiful. I hope the monarchs are enjoying their visit to this hemisphere. I understand they brought a cannon, I gather their visit is part of the anniversary of the end of World War I.
