| This year, The Crown Prince Couple's Awards ceremony was held at Jysk Music Theater (Jysk Musikteater) in Silkeborg. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark presented The Crown Prince Couple's Awards 2017 to the winners. This year, Danish fashion designer Cecilie Bahnsen became the winner of The Crown Prince Couple's Stardust (Stjernedrysprisen 2017) award. The awards consist of four awards, namely, Culture award, Social award and two Cultural Stardust awards. |

Love CP Mary's style! Elegant with splashes of color and a little twist. The shoes make the dress pop.

ردحذفI am actually amazed Cecilie Bahnsen has managed to do much better dress piece to Mary than the sacks she normally design. The material is high quality silk. I am also amazed that people here complain about the material really.

That person is the winner Cecilie Bahsen, also the designer of Mary´s dress. That white sack is how the clothes she designs mostly look like.

The first picture with the lighting, Prince Fredreik looks like he is photoshopped in.
ردحذفI really like the upper part of Mary´s dress. Well-structured, classic shape, with a little twist but without looking try-hard. I like the ice blue colour as well, and don´t mind the shiny material. Unfortunately, I don´t think the skirt part is as successful. It´s a tad to long, the uneven hem looks messy rather than interesting, and the huge pleats just don´t sit right. The shoes I find most distracting, they match neither style-wise nor colour-wise.

They are a photogenic couple. It's a lovely dress, soft pleats are tricky to iron and the center front pleat shouldn't be tapered. His tie coordinates w/her outfit. Hope we see the dress again, with a straight front.
ردحذفI don't like the dress. The hem is just too much. I think the pleats at waist just make this gathered in an odd way. The color is beautiful. I even like the color amd red shoes. Mary is beautiful as usual but overall it hangs in a weird way. Also it seems like a tablecloth border/runner. I give it a C-

ردحذفMaterial, lace hem, pleats, hair, shoes (what the...) nothing is really attractive by it self and certainly not jumbled together...
The top part of the skirt is actually reminiscent of Mary’s wedding dress with the inverted pleats.
