  1. Shame on Margrethe for wearing furs - yeah, yeah, the animals that 'gave' their furs have long been dead anyway, but I violently dislike her for showing off in the furs.

    2. Do you wear leather shoes? What is the difference between fur and leather from cows or calf?
Are there animals, who are more precious than others?

    3. Leather shoes are a necessity, furs are a luxury.

    4. Cows, calves are bred for food, and something has to be done with the leather. It enrages me, as an animal lover, to see animals killed so the rich and celebrities can flaunt their skin. Margrethe is not wearing those furs for warmth here, she is showing off. I live in a big, cosmopolitan city in Canada. You hardly EVER see a fur here, unless it's way, way, way up in the Arctic.

    5. Why the violence, Lizzie? Is it not possible to love animals without being violent against someone who wears fur?

  2. Queen Margrethe's outerwear must be able to cover a sofa (couch) or bed! Gosh!
I'm not a fan of Queen Sonja's jacket either, but she looks fantastic at the age 80 !

  4. Wow, Sonja. So elegant and flattering. Fits her like a glove. If there was just a bit of colour somewhere I´d call it perfect.
Margrethe - no. Nice colours but poor material and/or ill-fitting. The neckline-situation looks sloppy, the trouser legs are too short. And the coat/wrap, apart from the obvious fur issue, is overwhelming her, and that is quite the feat on stately and charismatic Margrethe.

  5. Sonja is at my opinion dressed perfectly! She looks radiant at 80! Queen M looks happy buy her jumpsuit is to loose and to short.

  6. Queen Sonia looks chic and modern in a very flattering ensemble. The bejewelled detail on her hair is lovely. Such class. What a beautiful lady!

  7. Queen M is of the old mindset. When I see the fur it gives me pause certainly. We won't see the end of fur in colder climates. They keep people warm whether fur or down. I hope whenever possible the younger generations make the informed decision to choose alternatives.

  8. This gives me the creeps! Yuk! I dont think I have seen on a fashion site anything appalling like that. It's not only the fur, poor animals, to think they had to die for something ugly as this, nowadays there are better ways to keep yourself warm....it's the whole appearance. This ridiclous pantsuit, the hair, the makeup, the jewelry, the look. No! I am out! I won't comment on Margrethe anymore. I wouldn't have anything nice to say.
