Silvia's outfit is very nice but the jewelery doesnt match the outfit.

I enjoy the red dress with the amethysts and it does work because it is complimentary shade of red, in particular a wine shade of red. If she had used a red that has an orange undertone then that would have not worked at all.

حذفIsa; complementary color to red is green not purple. You may mean analogue colors what are colors near each others in color wheel. But to amethyst purple the red near is purple pink fuchsia and pink, not this orange red what is in Silvia´s dress.

حذفI was wondering the same thing. Could it be her wedding tiara with diamonds instead of the emeralds? I thought I'd seen all of the Swedish tiaras over the years but this one is not familiar. Anyway, it is a delicate, lacy piece and very pretty with the blue lace in her gown.

J'aime beaucoup la personne de la reine Silvia. Je la trouve bien vêtue la plupart du temps mais là, je n'aime ni la couleur de la robe, ni les bijoux complétant sa tenue. On dirait que ça ne va pas ensemble et que le tout lui donne un air fatigué.

ردحذفThe comment I didn't have time to make at the last formal event was that Silvia is always impeccable. I am happy to see the amethyst parure, it is a beautiful set. I agree slightly with the comments about all the colors not the best complements of each other, but then think, is this a new fashion forward trend? That said, the lipstick maybe could have been a shade of color similar to the shawl's, rather than pink. Lovely gown on Sofia.
