Princely Family of Liechtenstein attend National Day celebrations

Prince Hans-Adam II, and his wife Princess Marie of Liechtenstein, Hereditary Prince Alois and his wife Hereditary Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein attend the National Day 2017 celebrations in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. The 15 August is National Day in Liechtenstein. It has been celebrated since 1940 and is closely connected to the birthday of Prince Franz-Josef II on 16 August.

  1. Apparently, I need to do some research... I've never even heard of these people. And while I have heard of Lichtenstein, I don't really know where it is either..... Oh dear...

  5. I read somewhere that they’re the richest European Royal Family.
    And another thing, this Royal Family has significant governing powers, not just ceremonial like all the other European Royals Houses.

  6. Quite simply by far the richest royal family in Europe, and with actual governing power. At the same time, the most discreet royal family there is. But speaking of fashion: maybe the ladies could make an effort and dress up to the event for the National Day? There is more than enough money to splurge once a year and look their utmost best as a National Day deserves

  7. Very reserved royal family but I remember when in the 90's princess Tatiana of Lietchenstein was appointed by the Spanish media as the most eligible girl to marry Prince Felipe of Spain
