  1. An unusual dress for daytime with the lace overlay over...what? A slip, camisole? And it's a bit short.
However I like the colours and she manages to make it look fairly good.

  2. A while ago I said I am so done with lace dresses, and her comes Queen Maxima, big hat, big smile, strange earrings, coat thrown over the shoulders, dress too short.....and I can't help to find it good. The world is a funny place 😁😁😁

  3. It sort of looks like she swiped the best tablecloth and had the dressmaker put it together.

  5. The chapeau is 'de trop', and the hair, I despair she'll ever do anything about it. It looks like rats' tails.

  6. No matter what she wears, in this troubled world, I find her joie de vivre a tonic. And I like the dress fairly well with the blue underdress--better than that ubiquitous nude color.

  7. Looks a little bit sausage in that dress, which is one size to small and to short. And not so beautiful with the underdress colour for my sight of the things. It could!! look lovely...
The hair!!!- (The girl in the 1st picture looks a little bit anxious about the porcelain: "Careful, oh dear, please, don't let her brake that expensive thing!"). But Maxima managed her entrance with her big smile again, wow.

  9. She is someone who pulls you in and you never want to leave. She is indeed so special. Born to be a Queen. She is the perfect mate to Willem and for the Dutch. This is why when she goes a little RuPaul Broadway we still love her!

If the world had a little Maxima thrown around like confetti we might all be wearing....lace tableclothes 😉😋😎 big hats and beetles on our chest.

    We need many more Maxima's!
    Make it work Argentina

  11. I like this however, I think this dress needs to be a little bit longer or worn more casually with a shoe with a lower heal and no hat.

  13. The lacy dress seems to match the scallops and design of the porcelain, see the first two pictures, and then the flowers in the Delft are like the beautiful flower of Maxima's face. They mimic each other. She is really so fun!
