Duchess Camilla visits Vasari Corridor in Florence, Italy

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall visited the Vasari Corridor on day three of her tour of Italy on April 2, 2017 in Florence, Italy. The Vasari Corridor connects the gallery of statues and paintings in the Uffizi Gallery to Palazzo Pitti and was built to allow the Grand Dukes of Florence to move safely from their private residence at Palazzo Pitti to the government's headquarters at Palazzo Vecchio.

  1. A truly magnificent place, full of breathtaking portraits, one of the best picture galleries of the world really. And in such a gorgeous city! And I swear Camilla's spotted dress is just perfect for this visit.

  2. That beautiful dog in the first photo steals the show. What kind of breed do you think it is? Can see how warmly Camilla reacts to it. Glad to see her doing a solo tour of Italy.

  4. Correction to my first posting -- Camilla is not on a solo trip. She is traveling with her husband -- although they have some separate activities on this trip.

  5. Camilla is aging beautifully with all her wrinkles. Nice hair and make-up. Dress is little granny style to my taste, but it fits well and color is nice to her.

    1. Your first statment would make me a little laugh some time ago - "aging beautifully with all wrinkles" - but now that I see what this botox and other "beauty" treatments do to ladies, I must admit your sentence makes a lot of sense to me.
