Today, King Gustaf of Sweden, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel hosted a lunch at the Stockholm Royal Palace for Italian-Swedish diplomat Staffan de Mistura who is currently in Stockholm for the Peace Talks 2017 and is the Syria Special Ambassador of General Secretary of United Nations.

    It's very bland and doesn't do her justice. Maybe a different colour?
    Perhaps brighter makeup and a softer hairstyle would have worked but we know that isn't likely to happen.

    I made myself a dress almost exactly like that in the 70s and loved it, until I wore it on a cruise and other passengers kept asking me for assistance as they thought I was one of the staff! I hadn't thought of that in years until I saw this.

    I don't know. It looks very blah to me. I don't like it on the model either so I guess it's not Victoria's "fault", it's a poor design.

      Haha, Heather, that's funny! :) You're right and it's not even the model's shape but also her face wich has this desperate expression of yearning after a tiny piece of bread.

    I don't like this dress at all, it reminds me of some sort of space outfit. Very difficult to look good with this particular color, complements so monochromatic make the end result very blah.

    Wasn't a fan during Italian trip not a fan now. I'm sure she likes it because it defines the waist and is comfy but please give it to us in a navy or deep purple. Or like @Diane said a dark lipstick.

    Victoria's hair were so slicked down that she seems to have very, very thin hair, add that ugly central parting...can you get more unflattering hair on a woman?! She's young and beautiful woman. Why she's afraid to show it? I'm not telling that she should have her hair down and curled but there are so many hairstyles that are pretty, flattering and easy to manage.
    Add that beige dress, beige belt, beige shoes...sorry, but its so boring and so unimpressive.

    Zuerst dachte ich, bäh, aber auf dem zweiten Blick finde ich das Kleid gar nicht so schlecht. Ist es aus Kaschmir? Dann ist es mollig warm (in Schlössern kann es zugig sein!). Rocklänge ist bei der Kronprinzessin besser angepasst als beim Model. V-Ausschnitt und Kragen sorgen für eine schöne Büste; der passende Gürtel hält das Ganze zusammen und zaubert eine Taille. Die Ärmel könnten ein bisschen kürzer sein. Mir fehlt ein Farbklecks (Tuch, Tasche, Schuhe?), dann könnte das was werden. Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal.
