Princess Mette Marit attends Amandus Film Festival 2017

On March 24, 2017, Crown Princess Mette Marit of Norway attended events held in connection with the Amandus International Student Film Festival for Young Filmmakers in Lillehammer. The festival is the result of the merging between the Amandus Festival, an established festival for young film makers under the age of 20 in Norway, and The Norwegian Student Film Festival, the only festival solely dedicated to student film productions in Norway.

  1. A bit to much black. Some color would be nice.

  2. Why does it seem like MM repeats the same 3 jackets over and over again? Either it's the one she's wearing, the black ruffled Prada or the horribly ill-fitted beige one. She's worn all 3 this week. Does she not have more clothes that she can wear if not then go buy new ones.

  3. Trousers are too tight and these ballerinas look silly.

  4. Agree - same jackets all the time, too much black, and the pants and shoes are not good.
I guess we aren't going to see any real changes with her (I won't count the yellow-grey evening dress disaster).

  5. A fashion plate she is not. However, this was not a formal occasion

  6. I agree that this is too much black. But the look itself is not bad, trourers and ballerina flats included. It´s a casual look for a red carpet, but apparently it´s a students´ film festival, so I think it´s ok.

    1. I agree. Despite the red carpet I think that this outfit is okay for this event, and she is smiling this time!

Cathrine she always smile. The problem here is the magazines or blogwriters who choose the photos when she is sitting listening or are trying to hold back tears because she is moved of what she is hearing instead of the smiling ones.

  9. Obviously she's not into fashion but she looks comfortable and happy. Good for her.

  10. I think a little color would have made this outfit great

  11. I think this outfit works well on MM, very appropriate for the event and the shoes may well be back appropriate as MM has back issues. Chronic pain isn't fun!
