    1. Hello to You Diane, back from winter vacation without broken bones!

    2. Hello Kristina! Good to see you here! My ankle is healing nicely. Still going to physical therapy. Tried some boots with a heel for first time yesterday and it was not 'pretty'. I looked like the hunchback of Notre Dame dragging my leg 😂

      Hope you are well!

    3. We went skiing in Canada and came back with all our bones in place, untouched.

    4. Canada! How wonderful!!! Quiet a trip :) I would think you would go to the Alps LOL I have a friend in Tigne right now and they had the avalanche and I was crazy wondering. Anyway I am glad you came back with all your bones in place!

  2. They both look great. As usual!
But my second thought is that the queen's outfit has a slightly casual vibe that is out of sync with the seriousness of the event. Perhaps it's the style of shirt or perhaps a skirt would have been preferable to pants (but I admit I have a bias about pants being worn to a formal, or fairly formal, evening event).

  7. I also thought at first that the outfit was to casual for the event, but the photos in the Spanish press show the special details of the bow on the belt that Angie mentions above (very pretty) and the details of the shirt (the gold dots that seem more like appliqués and the velvet edge on the front pockets brings put the shimmer of the silk). Like Heather, I don't like pants for events like these but the outfit appears more elegant in the details as we look closer.
