    1. 1. At home. There's not a single pair of parents amongst my friends who didn't have a short (2-4 days) holiday around when their children's were 1-1,5 years old and left them at home (preferrably with grandparents). It's totally normal.
      2. At the hotel where they stayed, maybe with a nanny. There's not a single pair of parents amongst my friends who didn't have a short (2-4 days) holiday around when their children's were 1-1,5 years old and left them at the hotel at some moment with a relative or a nanny. It's totally normal.
And it's January 8th. It's not a Christmas holiday that you're supposed to spend with your closer family.

    2. The kids are 2 years old ... can be left at the hotel or even at home with the nanny. Are Prince Albert and Princess Charlene not allowed to have a life??? Between duties for the principality and looking after their twins, they probably don't have much time to just enjoy themselves.
