  1. Stephanie looks really good here--classic and simple lines of the dress suit her. If she stays away from the strange pants, she often looks lovely.

    1. You are right. I am rejoicing! Really lovely. I want this dress. Simple lines but made elegant by how she carries herself! I wish she would have chose an intricate heel but maybe it would have been overkill. Designer? Does anyone know?

  2. She radiates, she wears skirts, her hair is done, and smiles at his husband. Isn't she pregnant?

    2. Sorry, not a single one of the pics posted by the blog master shows her smiling at her husband. They are not even looking at each other.

  3. She radiates, wears skirts and colours, her hair is done and smiles back at his husband. I really hope this change is caused by some very very happy news....!

    1. Because she wears white? Haven't seen a nurse in white, at least in North America, in decades.

    2. Have you ever been to the Cleveland Clinic ??

  5. She looks lovely - hair and dress ( not so sure about the length of the coat, but that's a small detail).

    1. I am sure about the length of the coat...it's too short ;-))), but I agree, dress and hair is acceptable. Although I find both of them look much older than their age.

    2. Very true, they do.

    3. Lovely - that hair? The last time I saw such a dowdy hairdo in "real life" was on a farmer's grandmother who sold her family's products on the local market.
And Stephanie is certainly not the woman who can wear the hair out of her face. She needs to have it much much shorter, with fringes playing around her face.
By the way the dress looks shapeless like a work coat, that's why I wrote nurse on duty. The sleeves have an odd length which doesn't look good at all. Ellbow or full length but not in between.

    4. Looking at the pictures twice, I must say you are rigth @Romana. The dress in itself is nice actually, I like this 'sixties' appeal. But it should have been more fitted and definitely needs other accesoires to really meet the look, shoes, coat, earrings, hair.....yes the hair, I am so bored of this grandma updos, this look needs an edgy haircut.
The cut of the sleeves is good, but I agree either shorter or longer.

  6. I love the style and color of the dress, and the color of the coat goes well with the dress, but I would have chosen a dove gray cape the same length as the dress might in lieu of the short coat. Still a very chic look for Princess Stephanie.

  7. The coat is obviously way too short but the rest looks fabulous. That is, of course I could say a couple of things I don't like but in Stephanieland this is sublime.
I partially agree with Romana on the hair. I'd prefer it with soft wavy-curly ends, loose, side parting. It would go better with the sixties neckline and take away the nursewear-feeling (I also understand that, in my country nurses wear white normally).
But overall a great applause for her.

  8. Coat is too short as many have said, I would have put also two inches more to dress, but color is fine and I like her hair.

    1. Two inches more?? Where? Only on the sleeves. At the waist and in the length the dress would need two inches less to pull off the 'sixties' attire.

    2. Beth; to the lenght, that dress length is most becoming to her legs (what are her best part).

  9. The colour of the tights Stephanie is wearing is horrible makes, her look very old, just thin black thights and shoes would be much better. And why cant 't her husband wear younger looking suits? Like Daniel from Sweden does, i really would be disspointed when my husband was wearing these kind of clothes.

    1. Because he has no sense of fashion either. And I start to think, there are no fashion shops in Luxembourg. I don't know, where they get their clothes from.

    2. Beth, and even if you were right there still is internet-access in the country and there are a lot of web-shops ;-)

    3. Even better...if you don't like shopping at all, there are gentlemen's outfitters who offer a home service. They come to your house, bring a choice of suits, shirts, shoes, accessoires, all you need is one or two hours of trying and fitting. Maybe some adjustments by a good tailor. And you are done. If you care about you appearance. But these two obviously don't.
