  1. For the first time I see how nice Matte looks , her face, her soft make up and her curly at the ends hair (on 5th photo)

  3. I just don't get why Mette-Marit so often goes for this romantic girlie style, mille-fleur print and ruffles...boring. It does nothing for her. Maybe she thinks it looks young, combined with this hairstyle of a twelve year old, but makes her look only matronly. Her mother in law dresses way more stylish and vibrant. This Valentino dress costs at least 2.000 dollars and looks just blunt. With that money she could have got a complete make over, hairstyle and make up on High Street and look miles better. I understand it is her choice, but it is beyond me.

  4. I have not been a fan of that dress in the past. She has no color. Sigh.

But Queen Sonja is wonderful in the red and cream!

And someone please explain that bag MM is carrying. I get it is about human rights etc but it was suited for this event. Unless I am missing something. The Queen is not dressed down.

I might take that bag to the market to collect my veggies and bread and jams and fruit and flowers. But not to this. Oy

    1. Diane, sure the bag is the ugliest thing but probably eco-friendly. Not for me!

  5. MM looks so much better with a little curl in her hair and light make-up. Also, although <i do't mike the fussy dress much, its combination with the coat is OK. So, well done. However, I have a problem with the thick black tights which only look good when wearing thicker winter fabrics - not lightweight, fluttery stuff..

  6. The 5th picture in profile shows M-M's very beautiful bone structure. I find her lovely in many close-ups. I am just not sure she photographs well otherwise.
