  1. Having her hair down gives her a softer look. It would have been nice to have seen a better photo of the dress.

  2. Finally some noticeable improvement. This navy is good for her colouring and I agree wearing her hair down softens her facial features. The hem just hits the knee, still a bit shorter than what I would see as perfect but almost there. And some hint of a sleeve, though not even a proper cap sleeve, but hey, so much better that those dreadful garden party outfits. And on the first photo her smile looks genuine and it makes her very pretty.

  3. Good color to her but dress would be much becoming if just two inches longer.

  4. I agree with the color and the length. Since she seems to have something going on where the clothes bunch up it would really help her to wear dresses 2 inches longer. This will elongate her and it will look so much better. I do love her hair down.

  5. This is an improvement, so that is great. As for the length of the dress, I don't understand why two more inches would be better. Please know I am genuinely asking the question as I would love to know the reason for the extra two inches.

    1. I just have a gut feeling it would be better but now that I think here is my explanation: she has long legs (the lower part) so she doesn't need to visually elongate those. Her waist is however very short, proportionally, and when I say very short I mean really very, VERY short (no offense in that, she's not a model so she doesn't have to have a 'perfect' body). So the best she can do is to visually elongate that part and since she isn't small around her waist either, her waist and her thighs are kind of blend into one 'unit'. Adding an inch or a bit more would result in a more balanced look between the long legs and the shorter middle part of her body. Another way to do that is a darker horizontal panel around the waist on the dresses or lowering a tiny bit the waistline (fitted but a bit longer tops or wisely cut fabric and well placed darts in the case of dresses). Also, the short waist part is the reason she should never wear bulks of fabric on the upper part (plunging neck, those awful shawls or blazers with wide lapels, ill fitted sleeves etc.).
These are really small tricks but make great difference. Not just for Stephanie but for everyone. Most of us don't have the 'ideal' proportions so why not help a bit visually?
To be honest I just like to see that women wear fitting clothes and I always tell my friends (girls) when they hit it. It's so lovely to see well groomed women around you, isn't it? :)

  6. The two more inches would help her look taller and might improve the look of the dress. She doesn't have the Duchess of Cambridge's figure (she can wear any style) so the extra material may help the dress flow better on her figure type.
