  2. Looks they are starting the 'learning phase' of what CP Elisabeth's life will be .... she is appearing much more. Of course it could be that it is Summer and school is out so she has time. Lovely girl 😊

  3. Elizabeth is wearing a pretty frock, but heaven alone knows what Mathilde was thinking - midlife crisis?

    1. Is it a jumpsuit? Hard to tell

    2. I think it is a shirt and matching pants. You can see the line in the left photo. The outfit is quite fun-looking!

  4. I think Mathilde looks great! I personally think Elisabeth could look a bit more girlish though. She needs accessories- earrings, necklaces, bracelets. Also I'm surprised she isn't into makeup or at least some lip gloss. Most girls her age are into her that stuff.

    1. I don't miss the lip gloss on Elisabeth. I think she is very pretty and age appropiate. I actually think that those 'most girls her age' who put on makeup and lip gloss and wear clothes like they were posing for a sexy calendar and put on a lot of jewelry, well that they look either ridiculous or uncomfortable to look at. It's not that anyone of us didn't play dress up when at this age but this is their everyday attire, it's not an occasional play when one imagines herself being adult. It's so overwhelmingly Lolita-esque... Meanwhile we adults keep iterating the same wisdom about letting children be children. That seems inconsistent to me. Then again, this is just my opinion.
And Mathilde's matchy top and pants are... a bit odd. Maybe both the top and the bottom would work better separately, with unicolour pieces.

  5. No I certainly did not mean for her to go over the top we with makeup and look "Lolita-esque". Like I said some modest age appropriate makeup would be fitting. The Crown Princess looks like she just got out of bed. Light makeup ala Princess Isabella of Denmark or the Princess of Oranje would have been much more aesthetically pleasing!
