To me it looks like the floor painting has come off just inside the door and I think someone should fix that. In a castle like that there will always be something that needs repair, but fixing the floor would make a big difference, because it doesn't look good.

حذفI don't like Marie's portrait and his is just ok. The family is beautiful, the children are adorable. I recall seeing a picture of one of the floors in that castle when he lived there with his first wife. It appeared to be a dull wide planked floor with no finish. This floor is badly in need of painting especially at the doorway but it is not their home now.
