China visit of Prince Guillaume and Princess Stephanie

Earlier this month, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg visited China for the purpose of strengthening economic cooperation. During the visit, the couple visited many events in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

  1. This young lady seriously needs a personal dresser.

    1. Tout à fait d'accord avec vous. Une nouvelle coupe de cheveux et un maquillage un petit peu plus pimpant la rendrait tellement moins déprimante!

  2. Whoopee, just one more thing we need to know

  3. I think Princess Stephanie would look so much better if she learned to stand at an angle. Also, I am shocked to see both her and Kate last month in Empress Michiko sleeves. I would not have believed that if you had told me that in March!

  4. I just don't understand her at all. For those that say Kate often seems to be matronly in her choices I have to say Stephanie is the blue ribbon winner of matronly clothes.

I am sure she is a lovely person but she is the most dull of them all. She has no taste. No style of her own. She is wearing what looks like polyester pants. Her shoes look like the Queens shoes. Beige and yellow? With flowered? That outfit is a disaster! The blue one seems better but hard to tell so little is seen.

Why is she dressing like the? She needs a month with Maxima! She is not so plain that some nice clothes with some color and youth factor wouldn't help elevate her look 100%.

Sorry but she is dowdy. It seems to be getting worse.

    1. Maxima would even sparkle if she wears a potatoe sack. And Stephanie would look boring and impossible in Maxima's outfits. She just doesn't have any charisma.

    2. Lol @potato sack!

You are perhaps right Romana. I don't see any sparkle in her at all. If she was a royal from a bigger country the press would eat her alive.

Is this the way they dress in Luxembourg? Her Mother in law dresses much better! She has some flair in her! But this one? It's not even demure....it's dull. Vanilla pudding bland. Meh.

    3. She should ask help from Mary´s stylist. It looks like Stephanie likes to wear everything what is most unbecoming to her. Wrong colors, wrong cuttings, wrong skirt and blouse length. Those blazers are something people liked at 70´s. What I hate most are those granny shoes she wears. I do not want her to hold very high heels if she does not like them, but please choose younger and prettier models. Word is full beautiful comfortable shoes.

  7. I really hate to jump on the "she needs help" bandwagon, but she really does need help. From head to toe. Her hair style is awful! Her clothes from the color, to the fit, to the style are disasters! Bless her heart. She really, really needs someone to take her under their wing and give her advice. She should not wear white. With her pale complexion white washes her out even more. Yellow is another color she should not wear for the same reason. Goodness, the girl really does need help.

  8. I like her outfit with yellow skirt (at least some bright color) but all other outfits look more suitable for someone in her 50s. And her outfits do not fit with her young-girls hairstyles. She would look great with shorter hair.

    1. I'm 51. I wouldn't wear these outfits. Maybe the blue but the other three....no. Especially the yellow. It looks like something that was fashionable in the 80s.

She's very pretty and has beautiful shiny hair. I'd love to see her in something younger.

    2. Agreed. I am 58 and you wouldn't find those shoes in my closet! Ever! 1980 ugh

She needs some color on her face too. She is just so needing help. Maybe we should start a Go fund me account 😎

    3. I am too over 50 and I would never dress myself like she does. Those blazers are something my mother wears and she is over 90.

  9. I think the outfit with the yellow skirt is teamed with a "white jacket" however the lighting is bad and doesn't show the colour correctly. None of the shirts the men are wearing look bright white either.

Stephanie is no fashion plate, but then neither is Mathilde. Perhaps, Stephanie is following her Mathilde's more "mature" somewhat dowdy style. Stephanie may see conservative dressing as appropriate. Mathilde may have been a role model when she was younger.

Many of the younger Royals could do with a hair cut, but Stephanie isn't one of them, her hair is always beautifully groomed and unlike some, she is not always pushing it out of her face. Also unlike some other British Royal Princesses, her hair is always neatly combed.

Stephanie's style is conservative and old fashioned, which is a shame as she is young and attractive, however she can look stunning, she looked lovely, very, very pretty at Princess Madeleine's Wedding.

Just like Mathilde, Stephanie can rock a frock and a tiara when she chooses to.

    1. Stephanie hasn't rocked any frock. Ever! Sorry but it's true. And Mathilde is far and away more fashionable and colorful than Stephanie. Stephanie is not looking at Mathilde as an icon. Or she would look better.

      Face it Stephanie needs help.
I do like the yellow skirt. But not in her. The outfit doesn't match even if the jacket was white it is mismatched and a disaster
It's a shame because she is pretty in a quiet sort of way and I think could really bloom with some help.

    2. Don´t mix Mathilde here It´s me!, she has her style and it is becoming to her. There is just nothing same comparing Mathilde and Stephanie.

  10. The biggest difference between Mathilde and Stephanie: Mathilde just oozes genuine warmth and kindness, Stephanie doesn't. I've met several girls/women like her during my 53 years of life: They try to make believe you that they are little Miss Goody-two-shoes (wearing old-fashioned clothes included) but inside they are really cold and mean persons. For me, Stephanie fits into this pattern. I don't see nothing "sweet" in her. More than three and a half year after her marriage she is not engaged in a single charity. That museum stuff doesn't count as charity. Sorry, the longer I watch her, the more she repulses me.

  11. I think after we'd seen her in the exquisite Elie Saab wedding dress, we thought we were in for some fashion treats from Stephanie ! Sadly I have to agree with the majority of the other comments. It seems to be a downward spiral with Stephanie in the fashion stakes !I think, if the only good thing we can comment on, is that her hair is combed, it's time for her to employ a stylist and make up specialist !

  12. The wedding dress was much prettier outside in the bright sunshine than inside the cathedral. The many silver embroideries made the dress look too grayish in the dim light of the church, a famous designer like Elie Saab should have the fabric tested before. And her hair was a desaster showing the grown out blonde dye.
