This morning, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended a conference organized by Emerich Foundation in Viksjö School of Jarfalla municipality near Stockholm together with Emerich Roth who is a Swedish author and academician. (Emerich Foundation operates to prevent violence, bullying and xenophobia and tries to promote a compassionate school athmosphere by giving courses to children in primary and secondary schools. For this purpose, Emerich Fund organizes prize competitions among schools every year.) |
Oh, well, constantly the same boring hair style - brushed away from the face and slicked behind to a bun or ponytail. Sadly this kind of hairstyle does not suit her face shape nor chin line at all!!!
ReplyDeleteConstantly the same boring comment :(((((
DeleteOh dear, she looks exhauseted and old. Pregnancy must be basically horrible it its last weeks.
DeleteYes, she looks tired and older. Perhaps her hairdo help to age her?
DeleteShe likes it so...??? Unlike some who travel with a hairdresser, she most likely does her own hair. It is what she does and how she comes across that matters. She is warm, caring professional. HOw anone can write the same comments over and over and over is beyond me.
Delete@ ATL ,As I read here very often many people write bad comments about Queen Maxima hair or Duchess of Cambridge Catherine so why suddenly such a love for the Princess Victoria hairdo?
DeleteSeparate her hairdo from how nice person she is, There are two different things in a person!
I agree that she did not look her best here. Maybe its the busy schedule and pregnancy and all. I think it would be best to have hair done, not necessarily having on call hairdresser but going to a nice salon might work.
Deleteactually we kind of are separating the person and the hair, and I think currently we're talking about the HAIR.
DeleteATL we know how you feel about some swedes and especially Victoria, but why do you write bad comments about others and explodes when someone dares mention your favorites in a little less flattering light? If you can trash Sofia over and over why can't people say they dislike the way Victoria allways wears her hair?? Give us a good explanation.
DeleteI am impressed - in that stage of pregnancy CP Victoria looks stunning.
ReplyDeleteShe is not any Miss Universe candidate, if she likes to put her hair to bun or ponytail, so what. In these pics you can see how healthy and thick her hair still is. She makes those every day hairdoes herself and just happens to like it that way.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter her hairdo but it is strange that she didn't want to correct her shape of the chin. Her face would have look much nicer.
ReplyDeleteWhy on earth should she have done that? She is going to be queen one day, she does not need to take part to any beauty contest. She has so many more important aspects in her that her chin. She works hard and all what I ever have read about her; she must be very nice person too.
DeleteI cannot do but wonder what kind of insistence people have in particular to royal ladies. Males can look out as you will but women, they should have at least Miss World , no exception or naturalness permitted. In my eyes those plastic surgery/botox/what ever filler ladies are not pretty. They look out just plastic. What Victoria never does.
What an infantile comment!
DeleteSo according to you Queen can not look beautiful?
DeleteHer chin has nothing to do with her working hard or being nice person , nobody is question that!
@ Blondiini," Why on earth should she have done that?"
DeleteLook at her photo , anyone on this Earth would know why except I suppose YOU
Seems right to me that Princess Victoria no cosmetic surgery done, but her mother Queen Silvia does have much botox in his face. Each person is free to make their choice and no one is better or worse for that.
DeleteFalse. CP Victoria has had a nose job in the 90s and her forehead is botoxed... If you look at the pics of her face from the previous years, it was full of wrinkles! and now they have disappeared! Also she has her frown lines done too.
DeleteShe is beautiful and natural both now. And she gives also now very good message to all young women, no need to be so called artificial perfect.
DeleteOf course she looks tired, she is very heavily pregnant.
I have difficult hair. I think Victoria does, too. As much as I like a blowout or having it flatironed, it takes TIME! I have worn mine pulled back since I was old enough to have a ponytail and it suits my busy lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteShe looks good and has a lovely smile. I'm glad to see she seems happy.
yes, its actually what happens to us peasants, but she's a royal, a crown princess, surely a little budget on the looking good departement won't hurt.

DeleteVery good reply. YOu put it straight! :-D
She looks matronly, true. She lost her spark recently, but is still my fav royal. She seems to have a big heart. M
DeleteIn that second photo, the close-up, she does not look good; she looks "worn" and you can tell she's gained weight. Papa kungen, her wonderful father, has gone to Mexico for a week and left her with added responsibilities as functioning head of state. But she always keeps smiling.
ReplyDeleteYes, I've been pregnant and, no, I did not gain a lot of weight. Since she is 38, perhaps this is also her last pregnancy.
Sometimes photo is taken in wrong light or angle or simply much too close.
DeleteIn other photos she looks much slimmer even being so far in pregnancy.
Yes, sadly she has aged quite a lot in recent years and I'm sure that pregnancy has tired her even more (plus its clear that her skin has been damaged by the sun).
DeleteHer hairdo is not helping either as it leaves her face too bare. This style is just not for her!
She does need hair to frame her face and especially her chin. I hope one day she or her hairdresser will realize it.
But otherwise, I really admire her for keeping up her good work and I wish her good health!
As far as I know, Victoria and Daniel do not spend much time in sun because Daniel´s renal disease. I would be really surprised if just she is the one who has sun damaged skin. I would say just now her skin looks tired because of pregnancy and very cold weather we have had here in north.
DeleteSweden has got a new princess Sofia, who loves being a limelight-glamor- girl. Victoria is a serious future Queen!
ReplyDeleteA real royalty!
A new princess....it sounds so sadly, cause WHAT kinf of princess is that?
DeleteBut you're right: Victoria is DARLING.
Crown Princess Victoria comes across as a very caring and earnest person, also as someones who is very practical. I think a ponytail or a bun is easy and practical for her (her hair style should be practical for her, and to her liking not ours).
ReplyDeleteCrown Princess Victoria can also rock an up do when she has to and look absolutely gorgeous. I can only imagine that the Swedish people appreciate that she isn't wasting money on having a hairdresser style her hair each and every day, and only uses a hairdresser on special occasions.
GO ON MATERNITY LEAVE, PLEASEEEE! YOU LOOK VERY TIRED AND OLD!! ????? YOU SHOULD REST! MIGHT BE THE SKIN THT MAKES HER LOOK MUCH OLDER THAN SHE IS???
ReplyDeleteThere are at least 3 hearts beating and that is really hard to stand.
DeleteWhy are you shouting? Victoria have only a few more jobs before she's going on materity leave, so take a chill pill. And her skin...how many "ordinary" pregnant women do not have the same problem??? And calling someone old is not nice!
