Lighten up, you guys with all the criticism of Duchess Catherine. She will do what she is assigned to do. She does not dictate her work or schedules.

The Duchess herself organizes her schedule that's why she choose only sport events or red carpet parties. She loves only this kind of....work!

As patron of several charities, there is work she does that the public does not see. The RF helps encourage patrons to donate their time and money through mail contacts, they answer correspondence, and attend many private functions that are not reported online. Just because we do not see news reports of what she is doing, does not mean she isn't doing work for the organizations she supports.

If she wants to help the promotion of her charities we must see her-all royals do this!

One of the purposes of the royal family is to bring visibility to certain charities by public appearances. Secret visits as they are called, totally defeat the purpose of what the royals are trying to achieve. I don't believe for one second that Middleton is making any of these visits. It's just PR trying to cover up her abysmal work ethic.

She has nannies for this and if she visit a charity once a week this is not a problem.

If the Duke and Duchess were any more visible then they would be accused of trying to upstage and outshine the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall. They can't win either way. Prince Charles is the heir and should be MUCH more visible than the heir to the heir.

      Being a prince IS A JOB !!!!
Charles and Camilla EVEN MORE TE ROYAL COUPLE are not so young to work every day (they work very much)-Will and Kate are invisible, why?they must work to learn their job, this is the only way for them to be good royals and nobody knows when the time comes to be King...
You can adore the Cambridges I respect your opinion Personally I want to see them more! Why not????

Don't really adore the Cambridges. I do remember it being reported that Prince Charles was very jealous of his ex-wife's popularity. Then there were the ridiculous reports in the media suggesting William succeed the Queen, bypassing his father. I don't see many reports/articles about Charles and Camilla doing their job, but every time the Cambridges leave their home, it's front page news. Yes, Prince Charles is older, but he and his wife seem in excellent health and again, he is the HEIR. William and Catherine have decades of duty ahead of them. JMHO

    3. Have you ever had children? I doubt it, or you never suggest that a mother of a 3-month-old plus a 2- year-old ought to be back at work, even for one day a week, when we don’t even know whether Kate is yet getting a full night’s sleep. Have you not heard how exhausted and overwhelmed a new mum can feel -- even if she has a nanny? Post natal depression is staggeringly high amongst mothers, regardless of their circumstances. Naturally, any difficulties with baby Charlotte are not published; Kate’s “perfect” image is carefully created and her privacy guarded. But it would be wise not to take her public image at face value, nor believe that she really is a superwoman. This week Kate missed attending her friend’s wedding – let us hope that it is not a sign that she is struggling to cope.
But even assuming that the parenting is going smoothly, the nanny (Kate has just one, so I read) is not the answer to everything. The history of the British royal family shows the negative results on royals whose childhood was dominated by nannies and, if we can believe what we read, Kate, who had a commoner’s childhood, and William, whose mother Diana was very involved in his upbringing, are determined to do a lot of the parenting themselves, so as to give their children a more “normal” start to life -- surely an ideal that ought to be applauded and supported! easing off on public appearances until the load on Kate gets easier, and she feels back to normal again, is a very sensible approach. The last thing Kate needs at this time of massive change and challenge in her life is pressure to adhere to a schedule.
