I'm shocked someone would post such a thing. It was extremely generous that the Royal Family allowed the public on the grounds at all.

    1. I think the comment comes from the same anonymous person that always has negative things to say about everything and everyone. Just a bitter, spiteful person.

    2. "extremely generous?" It was a last minute decision to help defuse all the bad publicity they had the week before...A: William taking a return helicopter flight that cost around £30,000 to an event at tax payer expense, when he could have gone by road (a 90 minute journey), B: The £60,000 revamp of the tennis court at their Norfolk home, the plans move the court 30feet to one side and required the council to allow them to encroach on the agricultural land of a tenant farm and also into public park land . C: The Duchess will be officially attending Wimbledon but neither of them will be attending any commemorative events or anything else in July.

Up until the flack started hitting the fan there were no plans to allow the public near the church, in fact it was made quite clear that the grounds would be off limits. Suddenly they decided a little Charlotte PR would kill the bad PR. As much as I like the public being able to be included at the Christening it really was not an act of generosity, simply self preservation.

Emeraldcity must be the long time Cambridges hater, Rachel Mellors (heavyarethecrowns) as she is spouting such negative rubbish.

Catherine looks great, already so slim and in great shape. Loved her simple, yet elegant white coat. Glad that her hair were up and teamed with that beautiful hat. George and Charlotte look really cute.
    Take care, Miranda

ladies, I love this site this is the one and the only one I'm making comments because it is the only one everyone can say what they think without being judged. Do not make me regret it. That everyone can express a personal opinion without the person being judged by pitite!

Free speech OK!! But don 't twist the truth (like 10.29 did). Kate was smiling and waving very friendly to the public.
There are a lot of videos you can see it. No reason to be "shocked"

I like the hairstyle and the outfit of Kate. Much better than at the Christening of George.
I wonder why they used a pram and why she did not carry Charlotte in her arms?

Charlotte and George are gorgeous. But I must admit I am not very fond of George's old fashioned clothes and the very vintage pram. And I cannot help the impression- why do we never see Catherine in anything else but a coat? No matter if it's winter or summer, always the same coats. Also the other royal ladies and her female family opt for coats. Seems like a boring and strange uniform to me. The tiny and pointy hats/fascinators don't make it better. More variety and classy modern clothes would be great. Look at Mary, Charlene and Maxima looking excellent, elegant and a bit different every time.

It's better to air on the conservative side and be formal. Nobody dresses better than the English do and the coats are their signature style.
