      I don't mean to be mean, but her hat is too much...... She is pretty, well-liked, well-dressed, and she doesn't have to imitate the Brits or Maxima with their overly large hats

      Her children have always been very well-dressed, but it's going to be a little more difficult to match outfits for the girls, now that Elisabeth hits the teens

    Exactly! and I don't think she is imitating anyone! she has her style !! I think Kate is imitating Mathilde and Maxima, but she isn't and will NEVER be ONE of them , in beauty, style or anything!!!

    How different aren't our points of view. I really do love the whole of Queen Mathildes first outfit, including her beautiful hat. She looks a lot like Grace of Monaco did at her time. Absolutely stunning and stylish !

      Grace was the most beautiful and stylish princess -She was very hard working(charity work,visits,etc)
      It's impossible to found a bad photo of Grace - SHE WAS the most photogenic woman ever...
      ( Mathilde is my favorite CURRENT queen after Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth )

      Grace would never dare to wear the same clothes as anyone else. She always wore Dior and Hermes and other prominent costume designers.
