Claire Lademacher's Wedding Dress Sketch by Elie Saab. Princess Claire of Luxembourg was picture-perfect in a stunning wedding gown by Elie Saab as she walked the aisle on Saturday.

The new princess wowed the crowds in an ivory-coloured silk dress intricately embroidered with Chantilly lace floral motifs and glimmering silver thread.

The gown by the Lebanese designer favoured by the Luxembourg royal family featured a three-metre long flowing train with a neo baroque flower detail which continued through the length of the silk tulle veil.

Prince Felix's wife chose a glittering tiara to sit atop her glossy brunette locks on her special day. It is believed that she wore the Grand Ducal family's diamond floral tiara favoured by Grand Duchess Maria Teresa.

A pair of dazzling diamond earrings, believed to be the same ones worn by Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa on their wedding days, complemented the stunning headpiece.

Claire wore low-heeled white shoes with a delicate ankle strap which carried on the pretty floral theme and she carried a simple bouquet of white blooms.

A bun that sat at the nape of her neck finished off the elegant effect.

The 28-year-old bride was walked down the aisle by her father German telecoms millionaire Hartmut Lademacher.

It seems that 28-year-old Claire may have looked to her sister-in-law Princess Stephanie for sartorial inspiration. The Belgian-born blonde royal also chose a long-sleeved lace-detailed gown for her nuptials last October.

It looks exactly like the gown worn by HRH The Hereditary Grand Duchess.

  2. I agree, that was my thought too when I saw this gown. In fact, most of Elie Saab's gowns look the same to me...

To the 2 previous comments, this dress looks nothing like HRH The Hereditary Grand Duchess dress. If you put the two dresses together, you'll see the detailing are completely different and that Princess Claire has full sleeves. Also, to criticize Elie Saab's work is just rude. He is a very established designer with royals and celebrities wearing his apparel, so before you judge him; please judge yourselves and your arrogance.

Maybe you should judge your arrogance first.
