Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is undertaking a four-day official visit to Ghana from the evening of November 2 through November 5, 2026, in her capacity as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA). On November 2, Queen Maxima arrived at Accra International Airport, where she was welcomed by Deputy Minister of Finance Thomas Nyarko Ampem.
For the occasion, Queen Máxima wore a relaxed-fit black trouser suit by Chloé, featuring culotte-style trousers. Her studded shoes are by Banana Republic. The colourful scarf tied around the Queen’s neck is a design by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and was purchased from the Stedelijk Museum shop.

I think it’s the second time we’ve seen this suit as Maxima steps off a business class commercial flight straight into a meeting. It’s a sensible travel - then - meet outfit.
ReplyDeleteLovely shoes. And black in really nice colour.
ReplyDeleteThe suit is fine, but I don't like the combination of it with the top and the scarf.
ReplyDeleteCe tailleur est parfait pour voyager dans un style décontracté en choisissant des chaussures cloutées confortables ressemblant à des mocassins ; sympa son petit foulard où le rose vif domine !
ReplyDeletePoah super jo eh
ReplyDeleteEveryone has a "bad" day sometime.
ReplyDelete… true statement 19:43, in fact a global truth! But in this case, Maxima after a long flight, steps straight into a meeting looking fresh and neat.
DeleteShe looks appropriately dressed and professional.
