King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain are hosting the 30th Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government (Cumbres Iberoamericanas de Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno), which is taking place in Madrid. The gathering brings together 22 countries from Europe and Latin America whose official languages are Spanish and Portuguese.
On Thursday, 5 November, Queen Letizia took part in a series of activities alongside the first ladies and accompanying guests of the leaders attending the Ibero-American Summit. The Queen made her debut as master of ceremonies at the Royal Palace of El Pardo. The engagements focused on two of her key areas of work: human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation and the inclusion of people with disabilities.
For the occasion, the Queen wore a sky-blue two-piece suit by Hugo Boss, which she first wore two years ago in Zaragoza and has worn on several other occasions. The ensemble consisted of a fitted blazer with two dark buttons and flap pockets, paired with wide-leg trousers.

Hugo Boss and Max Mara (Charlene) are both great brands when it comes to suits. This pale blue is well tailored and has a perfect fit. Pretty colour with the two dark buttons. I much prefer the styling on the model and find the black pussy bow blouse too heavy.
ReplyDeleteI like the pantsuit. I don't like the blouse with the bow.
ReplyDeleteThis is how a trouser suit should fit (or should be changed to fit if necessary). Letizia and Boss suits are a match made in heaven, but Letizia's choices for good combination (blouse and shoes) is due to her own innate taste.
ReplyDeleteWow, that’s a stunning turn on the most classic suit look: dark suit, light shirt. This light suit and dark shirt is stunning. Everyone looks fantastic actually - but no one can outdo that priceless tapestry.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteAny idea where this is? The tapestry is stunning!
DeleteL'ensemble de la reine ne m'enthousiasme pas. Je préfère la tenue en noir et blanc de la dame à gauche sur la photo générale.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful woman. What a wonderful blouse with the bow.
ReplyDeleteOoo, I like this a lot! Such good tailoring and she wears it perfectly poised.
