On the evening of 4 November 2026, Prince Albert and Princess Charlène hosted a gala dinner at the Grimaldi Forum in honour of the attending ministers and state secretaries. For the occasion, Princess Charlène wore an embellished tulle maxi skirt by Ralph Lauren.

Love the skirt not so sure about the black blouse but i understand why she wore it. Love her hair in pin waves
ReplyDeleteWow I like the skirt, not sure with this black blouse, I think I would prefer a different top, regardless she looks great. Not keen on the wavy hair, I prefer her natural straight hair, though she suits this soft look
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skirt. Charlene and Albert are both in black as the Prince lost as cousin Antoine de Massy 29, unexplained fall in the park, the funeral was earlier in the week.
ReplyDeleteShe looks beautiful. My only quibble is the underskirt I would prefer to be the same length as her overlay. The silk shirt is beautiful. Love the softness of her hair, very soft and natural. Not sure what the earrings are long, and colored stones, not able to see.
ReplyDeleteHello, my dear friend @ Ava.
DeleteHow are you doing?
I am fine.
I agree with you on all points.
Re: the earrings.
I couldn't find any detailed info but here's an article for you about this Gala dinner plus a section focusing on the black Max Mara pantsuit P.Charlene had worn previously.
Hope you'll enjoy the descriptions.
I prefer her retro, soft hairstyle featured here to her medium straight bob though each style is lovely and appropriate for each different engagement.
Hugs!!
👍💪👋🤗

DeleteBack to say that the different lengths of the underskirt and the overlay could be due to the slit on the back (see the 3rd small pic).
Most likely to ease movements , imo
Je préfère la jupe avec le haut porté par le mannequin que le chemisier noir de Charlene. Josée.
ReplyDeleteI like the skirt design in theory, but I don´t think it looks good when worn. Comes across as plastic-y at the bottom and doesn´t look elegant with the legs shining through. Maybe with darker tights? I also think that it is near-impossible to find the right top for it. The satin blouse certainly doesn´t work - neither style nor material.
ReplyDeleteLastly, Charlene´s skirt ended up with an unfortunate circle/twirl-like pattern right at belly-height. It´s distracting.
Forgot to add, the last photo, gentleman to the right of the Princess. He looks very well groomed and attired. This suit fits him perfectly. The pants are the perfect length.
ReplyDeleteYet another gorgeous look from Charlene.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric and design of the skirt look exquisite.
I love the slightly retro style of Charlene's hair.
Cate.
An interesting combinations. I like each piece, but don’t think they match together. For my preference, a simpler top without collar or buttons or sleeve cuffs would be better with a skirt which is crying out for all the attention.
ReplyDeleteWonderful style!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous skirt. I love the shorter underskirt, for me, it is part of the effect made by the pattern evading into nothingness towards the bottom of the skirt. It gives the skirt a certain airy lightness, very welcome if it comes after full-metallic length. - I have no problem with the black colour, but sure I don't like the collared shirt style with this skirt, neither the shininess.
ReplyDeleteWhy do the men wear their pants puddled at the ankles? They look so dumb!!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe looks as if she stepped back from the 20s ;-). Good job!
