On Thursday, 5 November 2026, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel met with the youth council and expert council of the Crown Princess Couple’s Foundation at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. The Foundation supports organisations working to promote good health and combat social exclusion among children and young people.
This year, the youth council consists of eight Year 9 students from Alviksskolan in Bromma. The two councils aim to ensure that the organisations and projects supported by the Foundation effectively promote good health and help prevent social exclusion among children and young people in Sweden.
Joseph Ade asymmetric plisse crepe midi skirt

Not a fan of the skirt hem angles. Pleated skirts like this flow better with straight hems. But its a lovely berry colour with the same accessories
ReplyDeleteShe can look so very good sometimes ... not this time. Similar to Charlene today, skirt and shirt play quite different games ... if she insists on a pleated skirt, then pretty please without an uneven hem and first of all: with a top that has no similarity to a collared and buttoned shirt with cuffs (see model). This simply does not work.
ReplyDeleteThis skirt has a 1920's feel with its straight silhouette, soft swishy fabric and irregular hem. I love it. And for Victoria the raspberry colour is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHowever I don't think this silk shirt is right with this skirt. Most of the pics online of this skirt, (like the model pic above) show the skirt worn with a longer top hiding the elasticated waistband.
Victoria looks great when she wears a blouse tucked into a flared A-Line skirt -- but in this case, the tucked blouse creates a waistline effect at a level which detracts from the skirt hem, and makes the skirt length and hem look wrong.
I'd prefer to see this skirt paired with a longer plain, shaped top with no collar or buttons or cuffs, worn out, so that the skirt features can shine. Lyra
In my opinion, the Crown Princess can go from looking spectacular—dazzling and incredibly glamorous—to appearing like a little old lady with a drab style, all from one day to the next. Even so, I like her. She seems quite amiable.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit would be quite fine, if the hemline was not uneven, I dislike this fashion statement.
ReplyDeleteMi va bene tutto, basta che tolga il mollettone dai capelli.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of this outfit but the color looks wonderful on Victoria.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that she is wearing a cheap plastic hair clip, a simple low ponytail would have look much better.

La couleur Bordeaux fatte beaucoup la princesse surtout quand on voit son haut
ReplyDeletedélicatement rentré dans sa légère jupe plissée ; je croyais qu’elle avait perdu sa barrette à cheveux mais non pas du tout !!
The uneven hemline ruins the outfit. The pleated skirt would have looked better with an even hemline. Maybe a short little jacket in black or dark grey or navy would add a bit chique. And of course the color of the shoes should be adapted to match the color of the jacket or the color of skirt and shirt. I think she tried not to look too chique because she had to meet young people.
ReplyDeleteThe skirt needs:
ReplyDelete- pulling up to actual waistline
- straight hem
- shortened to knee length
- a tight-fit top to go with it
