  1. The yomama cape I like it with the lighter dress on the model vs the darker dress. On the princess it kind of reminds me of a granny Victorian shawl. Not sure what to make of it as it is very pretty, perhaps without the fringe it would look more modern. The queen has a lovely dress

  2. CP Victoria should have worn the modelled dress along with the cape. Much better than her dark dress underneath the lovely cape.

  3. CP Victoria is looking so beautiful with her little cape (we call it a pélérine). It may be something women wore in the Victorian era, but on CP Victoria it looks fantastic and doesn't make her older than she is.

    2. Didn’t say it made her look older, just that the shawl looked Victorian

  4. Why such a wholly superfluous cape, I thought - there must be a reason? ... so I researched: it is a Singapore brand, a family brand. I suppose it was a present from her guests, probably never to be worn again which is a good thing.

  7. Désolée mais à mon humble avis, cette petite cape irait beaucoup mieux sans ces franges qui n’avantagent pas Victoria !

  8. Why are granny and grandmother used here as derogatory adjectives? If you mean, older styles returning, well there are other ways to say it. It happens all the time in fashion!

  9. I so much prefer the look, the colour, the dress and the cape styles shown on the model than what Victoria is wearing. The model is fresh and interesting, Victoria's look is 'meh'..

  10. The cape looks good on the model, the difference is what she is wearing with the cape. Victoria looks out of sorts with this cape. Its beautifully crafted and quite individual.

  11. @15.09- if your research is correct then I can understand why the cape was worn. Personally,I do not think it suits the dress worn, although as a garment it is a lovely item.

  12. Is that a new suit on the Queen? it's an interesting fabric but I don't think the color suits Silvia. Butterflies do appear to be this years designer trend.
I'm not even going to mention that Cape.
