On 29 September 2026, Queen Rania launched the fourth edition of Amman Design Week (ADW) at the Ras El Ain Hangar in Amman, ahead of its opening to visitors this Friday. The Queen was accompanied by her daughter, Princess Iman. The event will run from 2 October through 17 October, with all exhibitions and programmes free and open to the public.
Founded by Queen Rania in 2016, this year’s edition of Amman Design Week (ADW) will take place at venues and participating spaces across Ras El Ain, Jabal Al Lweibdeh, Jabal Amman, Iraq Al Amir, and, for the first time, Aqaba.
Queen Rania, Princess Iman, and other members of the Royal Family toured the Hangar Exhibition. The installations on display include works by designers and artists from Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, India, and Armenia.
Held under the theme ‘Accumulations,’ this year’s event brings together 220 designers, makers, and innovators from Jordan, the region, and around the world, presenting their creative collections and works across 59 participating spaces and 204 events.

I don't like either P. Iman's pantsuit (too bulky) or Q. Rania's cropped leather jacket.
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes and one more yes.
ReplyDeleteThe outfit pairs a masculine bolero jacket over a very feminine dress. The look is very incongruent to my eyes. The flaps on the jacket look bulky and don't help the overall look. Also, the sleeves look too long for Rania. I think she wanted a more edgy look since it is a designer event.
