On October 5, 2026, Queen Rania of Jordan met with Jeremy Anderson, a ceramic artist and designer from New York. Anderson is a New York-based ceramic artist who works in stoneware and porcelain. He is currently in Jordan as part of Amman Design Week. For the occasion, Queen Rania wore a sleeveless, striped midi dress by Staud.
STAUD Huntington Stripe Romy Dress

I like the dress on the model very much. I think it’s probably good on Rania but not the angle of photo shown.
ReplyDeleteThe Staud dress is a style which suits Rania; but I dont think the delicate chiffon evening bolero goes well with the sturdy cotton fabric of this summer dress. Ton me the combination looks a bit forced. Lyra
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree the inner blouse looks a bit odd inside the dress. But I suppose Rania wanted a more conservative look. Maybe she is not allowed to go sleeveless.
DeleteCe style de robe Staud lui convient à merveille mais sans rajouter ce genre de boléro qui montre un drôle d'ensemble !
ReplyDeleteThe blue color of the bolero needs to match the blue stripe in the dress, then it would look lovely.
ReplyDeleteThere’s a school of thought that matching exactly can look dated where as wearing colors that go together, like two blues that are not quite the same shade, is a more modern esthetic.
DeleteI agree with Anonymous 15:48 re the different shades of blue. It is the difference between harmony and disharmony. I prefer harmony.
DeleteThe blouse looks very odd with the dress.
ReplyDeleteThe dress itself is lovely. There is a disconnect between the chiffon cover over and dress, very much a mismatch.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime la robe pour une allure décontractée mais pas du tout la petite veste.
