On October 8, 2026, Queen Mathilde visited the two laureates of the 2026 Queen Mathilde Prize, which this year focuses on the theme “Let’s Breathe: Creating Breathing Space for Early Parenthood” (“Let’s Breathe: Ademruimte voor vroegouderschap”): the nonprofit organization vzw Alba in Leuven and Le Petit Vélo Jaune in Brussels.

vzw Alba works in youth care across Flemish Brabant and Brussels. The organization supports young people and families in vulnerable situations, including those facing conflict or financial insecurity. Le Petit Vélo Jaune supports vulnerable families with young children through a network of volunteers who assist them in their daily lives.

    I like the top with cape. Lovely yellow/mustard colour and the length is short enough for her to able to use her arms freely. I would wear it

  2. This is a wonderful organization, offering some important services. Mathilde looks great in this ensemble, I like the individual pieces, combined they look fabulous. I love the photos of her with little one, Mathilde has such a lovely demeanor.
