This multidisciplinary research centre operates in more than 40 fields and works with businesses and public authorities to develop innovative solutions to climate and environmental challenges, as well as to support the transition to a circular economy. VITO EARTH is the first climate-neutral laboratory building in Flanders.

During her visit, the Queen learned about several innovations, including Carbstone technology. This technology makes it possible to produce building materials from industrial residues without using traditional cement, while also capturing and storing CO₂ within the materials. The Belgian company BESIX used this technology in the construction of the ARAMCO Stadium in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

An excellent shaped outfit for Mathilde’s long legged silhouette. I’ve almost never seen better proportions for her.

Beautiful royal blue and I really like the extra touch of black shirt buttons to coordinate with the black boots. I think those small details can make a big impact. The Queen looks fantastic!

I agree. She really looks great here. I wish she'd drop the Natans permanently as they age her.
This suit is fresh and young

Until now Belgian royalty watchers did not found out who the designer of this suit is. It is a rewear she already wore on a number of occasions. It suits her and the blue color is less sad than the dark colors worn by other royal ladies now that we had a week of beautiful autumn days plenty of sunshine. To me her envelope bag is new. I never saw it before. It looks like a mixture of light silvery grey and black. I think she wore black ankle boots under her pants.

Love this suit on the queen. She looks great, the color is so very regal. I only have to say that the trouser's length is off by a centimeter or two. In a way, it detracts somewhat from what would otherwise be a perfect aspect.

  8. This deep blue pantsuit and accompanying attractive white blouse looks exceptionally fabulous! The style of the pantsuit, suits the Queen's contour. The jacket is a good length as is the pants. I like the neckline of this blouse and the small black buttons, works beautifully with her boots, clever addition. Her two toned small clutch, adding some depth of color contrast. It appears she is wearing small pearl earrings.

  9. This pantsuit looks exceptionally good, perfect style and design for her contour. The pants, great fit, length, look really very good. The jacket again wonderful length. The white blouse, love the neckline as well as the small black buttons, clever choice, drawing out the color of her boots. This pantsuit would have to be one of the nicest I have seen the Queen wear in a while.
The green pantsuit the lady in the 9th/10th photo, vibrant but very attractive color, this appeals to me, another great fitting pantsuit.

Dear Kim, The queen cannot drop Maison Natan, even it were her wish, it is a Belgian couture house and it is her duty to promote the fashion of her country.
I have the feeling that she does not always like the garments she is wearing or has to wear.

I don’t think that’s true Virginia; there’s no obligation to stick with just one of the many many businesses in Belgium.

Dear 15:20, If I remember correctly, the queen also wears creations from other houses, any other approach would violate protocol.

Which she doesn't. Everyone is focusing on Natan and does not see the other Belgian designers/brands the queen is wearing or has worn in the past. I already repeated here on this blog many times. Queen Mathilde is wearing Belgian design by Bernard De Poorter, Saïd Meer (official furnisher of the court), Gerald Wathelet (she wore in the past), Odile Jacobs, etc...from the Belgian brands in fashion she wears : MarieMéro, Caroline Biss, Essentiel of Antwerp, etc... Her hats are mostly made by Belgian hat maker Fabienne Delvigne, who is also making clutches for her in the same fabric as her hats. Queen Mathilde is wearing handbags by Delvaux, and each new brand of Belgian handbags which is coming out......
Queen Mathilde is also wearing a lot of Dior and Armani as well clothes as accessories for which she receives bad comments that "she should not wear these very expensive designers" now that everybody has to spend less money on clothes, shoes, handbags and jewelry because everything we need the most like gas oil, healthy drink water, electricity, etc.... is becoming extremely expensive. The shoes she is wearing are by Armani or Dior. I think she find them very comfortable.
