In her speech explaining the reasons for the award, which the editor-in-chief delivered to Queen Margrethe at Fredensborg Palace and again at the Opera House, Heidi Frederikke Sigdal highlighted how Queen Margrethe, during her reign, carried out her duties in an exemplary manner, “with both respect, innovation and Her Majesty’s very own style.”

First of all, I love the materials of the wall and seat in the reception room in Fredensborg Palace. Then, I adore the original Daisy artwork. Nikoline’s black woollen turtle neck is a classic and simple European practical elegant look I always love. Daisy herself is elegantly and beautifully dressed, and I love how much wear she has had out of that daisy brooch.
