What a talented lady. She should get the Oscar for costume design or whatever the highest award is in Denmark. congrats to the Q Margareth. So nice to see her. Happy that she is doing well.

Hi CSS, I haven’t seen many of her designs to know if they are top of the class, Oscar worthy .., but your comment made me reflect: a recognition of hard work and consistency and loyalty should be valued above a “best” such as an Oscar anyway. “Best” in the Oscars is firstly simply subjective, and secondly he who promotes hardest is most likely to win. The best films do not get an Oscar; but the best of those who do approx one full year of endless promotion specifically towards an Oscar, which makes it all unfair .. which makes Margrethe’s award better I think: recognition for long service!

The burgundy jacket of the queen is very flattering and wintry, excellent cut.
Yes, the gold brooch and the heart earrings offer the extra, elegant touch.

A talented queen, glad she retired to enjoy her passion. I do like the navy blue dress fit nicely. Not a fan of the hair accessory. I know their preference but I just don’t understand the gushing over long health hair, it does not enchance her look.
