On October 9, 2026, the Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia's Foundation (Prinsparets Stiftelse), the Swedish National Pensioners’ Organisation (PRO), the Church of Sweden, and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) held an intergenerational discussion at Tumba Church about life in an increasingly digitalized world. Princess Sofia took part in the event. One of the topics discussed was digital exclusion.

    1. Why always picking her out if the hairstyle is discussed ? There are others who need a good trim : the PoW, Q. Mary, Q. Letizia etc..... because they all and maybe more have long curly hair.

    2. I like P. Sofia's skirt. I had one in the past in a similar color, but in faux daim (alcantara). I also wore it with knee high boots and something else which is fashion again these days : a brown striped shirt blouse in the same brown as my skirt and with black, wine red, beige, thin white stripes, .... Even if I kept it, I could not wear it anymore, because I was much thinner in those days.

    3. Looks fine to me. Very disrespectful to criticize a woman’s hair. I am very sensitive about my fine hair and have been very hurt in the past when someone suggests I do something different with it. It’s like commenting on someone’s weight. Stick to clothes and accessories.

    4. @13:51 Got anything positive to say?
      Perhaps something about fashion.

    5. This is a fashion/style blog and hair is a part of that. I don't think it is disrespectful to comment on hair. If that was the case commenting on or criticizing any aspect of what the women are wearing would be disrespectful and what would be the point of this blog? Besides when you are a privileged royal it is expected that people will talk about you good or bad. We can't always be positive. That would be very boring.

  4. I feel her hair could be shorten a few inches, like I have said about other royals. Mary shorten her locks, and it makes a world of difference. Now Sofia has always worn her hair like this, that doesn’t mean it is the best style for her, so I don’t expect her to ever cut it shorter. I sense the person who feels it is not nice, perhaps the comment is meant in a kind way, not negative.

  6. Lovely casual autumn outfit head to toe, in temperatures where most women (see photo) tend to wear pants. The smooth feminine lines make this skirt a great choice for Sofia. Lyra
