On 22 October 2026, the Princess of Wales visited The Treehouse children’s hospice in Ipswich in her capacity as Royal Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). The Princess met with children and families receiving care and support. She also visited Café '98 in Hoveton, near Wroxham, which is EACH’s first and only café.
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices provides comprehensive care and support for children and young people with life-shortening conditions and their families, including support for bereaved families. For the occasion, the Princess wore a green suit by Victoria Beckham.
The Princess of Wales toured the site of the ongoing expansion project at The Treehouse. The project includes a new hydrotherapy pool, a wellbeing and therapies suite, a larger care and activity area, a dedicated space for teenagers, an additional children’s bedroom, and expanded kitchen and dining facilities.

Magnifique! Dans tous les sens du terme.
ReplyDeleteWonderful work Catherine for a god cause ❤️
ReplyDeleteHer style is fixed no more surprises as was as Duchess of Cambridge.
ReplyDeletenow trouser suits,
long dresses n coats,
chifon dresses for state dinner.
maxi dresses wimbledon.
Fantastic eh? Practical and beautiful, getting on with the job and not focusing on being a style icon. I very much approve!
DeleteYou’ve given a good summary of Catherine’s preferred styles. She’s done a great yet subtle job moving from fashion frenzy to focus on her work. I remember her stating it a few years ago. Very successful and still looking absolutely impeccable on every outing,
DeleteI agree, her wardrobe is mostly repeats and little personality. Even a nice scarf or long gold necklace would have added some interest to today’s suit and turtleneck that has been repeated for years.
DeleteToday I have read the most striking story through a series of wonderful pics and videos.
ReplyDeleteClothes and hair, no, I haven't seen anything of this kind.
I have watched genuine empathy in action , a lot of effort put in supporting children and young people with life- shortening health conditions and professionals working for them both indoors and outdoors.
"Perfect- brilliant"❤️
P the original, what a beautiful comment. Thank you!
DeleteWhat a lovely comment. Thank you.
DeleteEACH is a great cause. These pants fit horribly on someone even as thin as the POW. The sweater is nice but not with that green.
ReplyDeleteI’ve always thought Catherine suits a straighter/Slimmer leg trouser. The bootleg or wider leg throws the balance off shape on her athletic shape. The color is nice. The jumper looks cosy.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice engagement for her in East Anglia close to their Amner Hall country home, probably spending time there as a family whilst the kids are off over the half term.
Lowri.
Like this suit a lot. Not always a fan of VB fashions. This visit must have been the highlight for the children. Nice to see her there.

VB designs for slim people
DeleteNo doubt it’s a good cause and her working wardrobe suit is appropriate. I was so hoping that she had trimmed her hair but it’s still hanging drearily down in distracting lanky clumps dragging down her beautiful face. Oh, well. The children were glad to see her and that is the most important thing.
ReplyDeleteShe does get her hair trimmed really regularly. You see that from its excellent health. It may be distracting to you, cannot say otherwise. But it’s most certainly and objectively not lanky nor clumpy. It does not distract me. I find it beautiful and I also find hair an absolutely personal choice.
DeleteHa 19:19, long locks are not your thing, eh?
DeleteCatherine's suit is classy and is a great fall color. This green complements her complexion. Her hair is healthy and beautifully styled.
ReplyDeleteCertainly good cause. Depressing colour combo in particular since she was meeting kids. At least it’s a rewear
ReplyDeleteAnyone who has had chemo will know how badly this damages your hair. The newest methods to assist with hair retention dont work for everyone. Catherine seems to have limited her hair loss. That is no small feat, although comparisons of pre and post chemo definately show that she has lost a lot of volume. I think her hair has become a symbol of resilliance. She is unlikely to cut it now.
