On 19 October 2026, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden attended the 100th anniversary celebration of Stockholm Rotary Club, held at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. The Prince Couple were welcomed to the anniversary luncheon by Ewa Wasshem Ekblom, President of Stockholm Rotary Club.
Rotary was founded in Chicago, USA, in 1905 by lawyer Paul Harris. It is a worldwide professional network that undertakes humanitarian work. Rotary was established in Sweden in 1926 with the founding of Stockholm Rotary Club. For the occasion, Princess Sofia wore a green dress by Andiata.
