King Philippe and Queen Mathilde are undertaking a state visit to Kazakhstan at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. On the evening of 13 October 2026, the King and Queen attended a reception hosted by Belgian Ambassador Erik De Maeyer in Astana. President Tokayev also attended the reception.
On 14 October 2026, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde departed Astana for Almaty, where they were seen off at Astana Airport by President Tokayev. Upon arriving in Almaty, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited the Institute of Nuclear Physics and subsequently attended a traditional Kazakh nomadic cultural event.
Armani Prive coat
I like the pink blouse but not the skirt with the high waistline. Even the model with a thin waist (not visible on this blog) is not looking good with this skirt and it is also much too long.
ReplyDeleteThe short Armani coat in blue, grey and pink is looking much better for Queen Mathilde. Both are rewear.
The king and queen participated on a lot of visits and the event with the horses and the demonstration of the Kazakh men shooting the bow was very impressive.

ReplyDeleteHmmm, the coat is lovely, but a V-neck opening would have been better (not as low as the one on the model!). What has improved here is the headpiece that goes with it, it is much better with this colour than the blue hat. (even if I am not fond of these gigantic headbands.) The dress/skirt for the evening before is...nice! It has a bit the same style as the ones we have seen CP Victoria wearing.
ReplyDeleteLove the peach satin on the Queen. Beautiful color. I love the fullness of the skirt and the assymetrical blouse front. Not as crazy about the Armani coat. It's different but not too sure about the color blocking.

ReplyDeleteBoth outfits are nice. The first one the skirt looks a little stiff. The second one is OK but not sure about the color.

So much fabric under her much slimmer top part of her body is not very becoming, and the fabric is so stiff. Straight skirts with more voluminous tops are so much better. The coat is an old acquaintance and very nice.
ReplyDeleteI love the softness of the peach color, but do not like that design on the Queen. It looks overpowering - not really flattering. She does better with simpler and more straight lines.
