King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain are undertaking a two-day State Visit to the Republic of Finland. On October 6, 2026, the King and Queen were welcomed by the President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, and the First Lady, Suzanne Innes-Stubb, at an official welcome ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki.
Afterwards, Queen Letizia and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb visited Käpylä Public School in Helsinki, a Finnish-Spanish bilingual school. There, they met with teachers and members of the school councils. For the occasion, Queen Letizia wore a pink coat by Carolina Herrera and a custom floral-appliqué dress by Pedro del Hierro.
Carolina Herrera Pink Coat

Both queens seems very good.
ReplyDeleteNo Queen in Finland.😉
DeleteI like the combination of bright and light pink in this outfit. The vibrant CH coat looks great over the soft pink of the dress which has a classic style and is the perfect length. It's good that Letizia shortened the coat but she should have kept it a few inches longer to cover the hemline of the dress which is peaking out and looks a bit messy.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think it looks messy. It looks like a dress with a coat over it. Completely neat and tidy.
DeleteThe two pink shades are lovely together. Perhaps the coat appeared a bit shorter because it was draped over her shoulders.
DeleteI don’t think the hem difference matters at all. Peeking of the dress (rather than peaking ;-)… can also be seen as lovely.
DeleteLetizia back to her sartorial best after the masculine looking
ReplyDeletesuit from yesterday.
Her dress is very stylish and her curly hair is styled nicely.
Cate.
So nice of President Stubb to have his tie coordinated with the guest's dress ;-).
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteThe picture of Letizia with the picture taking boy made my day. -Mirella
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful the 4 of them look. Lovely pink coordination across the two couples!
ReplyDeleteWow
ReplyDeleteLove the coat perfect to fit over fuller skirts. Great colour for her. The dress is nice and feminine, reminds me of a poodle, skirt of the 50’s
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the coat she wears today is the same she wore on the last picture. There is a big difference in the color rose of both coats. On both pictures the dress she wears underneath is longer than the coat.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! This is the sort of glam that we want. What a gorgeous outfit. The two shades of pink and the shoes perfectly matching the length of the dress. Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteToutes les deux sont belles avec une préférence pour la Première Dame qui ne manque pas de nous montrer son élégance !
ReplyDeleteI love the Queen's pale pink dress. She looks so nice.
ReplyDeleteLetizia est ravissante et si élégante.
ReplyDeleteComme Charlène Letizia est toujours proche des enfants
All very elegant and stylish.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful dress for the Queen. The embroidery is subtle but so elegant. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteA finnish-spanish bilingual school, how interesting!
ReplyDeleteLetizia looks absolutely beautiful. Mrs. Innes-Stubb also looks very charming and elegant.
Love her pink coat! 🩷
ReplyDeleteThe combination of both pinks, blends well. The coat I feel is near to same length as dress, its the fact the coat is resting on her shoulders. The CH Coat is well made and crafted. The dress is very attractive, the skirt of the dress is particularly flattering, much swish and movement, the embellished/embroided pieces are well placed and adequate, very effective. The First lady looks elegant, lovely.
ReplyDeleteJuste ridicule ! ce rose bonbon ..trop âgée pour ça ! Et ce manteau ça la tasse ! On a connu bien mieux
ReplyDeleteReally, that was harsh. My granny is 86 and she loves pink clothes and she looks good in them.
DeleteLetizia looks wonderful as looks the first lady too.
