On October 15, 2026, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain presided over a literary dinner in Barcelona celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Premio Planeta de Novela, followed by the presentation of the 75th edition of the award. The prize was awarded to Chilean writer Isabel Allende for her novel La hora antes del alba (The Hour Before Dawn).

Established in 1952 by José Manuel Lara, the Premio Planeta de Novela aims to promote Spanish-language literature and bring the work of Spanish and Latin American authors to a wider readership.     The Queen's dress is very nice, but I would prefer it to be floor-length like on the model.

      Agree QL looks great and this is a great fresh take on a black evening dress but the length- either floor length or midi.

    The dress is gorgeous and the neckline is superb. The cutout design is magnificent. Sybilla deserves an award. Letizia looks beautiful as the dress fits her perfectly. This may be one of her best evening gowns!

    This is a beautiful gown, the top section adding interest. The models version has a slight train, this would have been nice, maybe too formal for this occasion, regardless gorgeous. Her earrings are stunning.
