On October 4, 2026, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan visited Aisha bint Abu Bakr Mixed Primary School in Aqaba to mark World Teachers’ Day, which falls on Monday. World Teachers’ Day is celebrated annually on October 5 to honor educators and highlight the state of the teaching profession worldwide.
The King and Queen toured the school’s facilities and learned about professional development programmes for teachers being implemented by the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development in collaboration with the Queen Rania Teacher Academy at public schools across Jordan. For the occasion, Queen Rania wore a shirt dress by Alexis.

La robe de la reine, pourquoi pas, mais la ceinture, je n'adhère pas du tout. On dirait une version de Fantômette...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color and dress but I wonder how it would possible to iron that sleeves ?
ReplyDeleteUse a steamer! LRB
DeleteUse a servant. I’m quite sure that’s how Rania’s sleeves are ironed.
DeleteAnon 16:26, I asked NOT by whom I asked HOW !

I like the belt
ReplyDeleteI quite like Rania's dress but not the unusual belt
ReplyDeletethat she has chosen to put with it.
Rania's hair is styled nicely as always.
Cate.
The belt looks very uncomfortable when she is sitting down. LRB
DeleteTo me, the sleeves and the belt, as well as the red shoes, make this look. Love it!

Beautiful dress, but the Batman-like belt should've stayed buried in a closet somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is lovely but the belt has a very odd shape that distracts from the classic style. A simple, thin black belt would have looked great. The sleeves are a very unusual shape which are amazing. Rania has eclectic taste in clothes that I appreciate even if she doesn't always get it quite right.
ReplyDeleteThe King looks good, well looked after over time, but with his natural wrinkles and face, showing us his life. I much prefer this look.
ReplyDeleteWhat have they done to the poor woman‘s mouth??? I now believe that the queen‘s body has also been „redone“. I prefer not to dwell on her stream of new garments, either bought or loaned, somehow painful to witness.

You’re saying what I only dared think Virginia.
DeleteJe suis d’accord Virginia.
DeleteThis dress style is absolutely perfect for Rania. However the belt colour is rather dominating; i would prefer to see it in a lighter colour such as cream. Lyr
ReplyDeleteShe looks wonderful. Lovely dress like the shoes.
