On Friday, 23 October 2026, the National Archives of Luxembourg (ANLux) officially inaugurated its new building in Belval. Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie attended the opening ceremony alongside Prime Minister Luc Frieden, Ministers Yuriko Backes and Eric Thill, and Mayor Christian Weis.
The National Archives aim to collect and bring together all documents of national historical, scientific, economic, social and cultural significance. They preserve, classify, study and catalogue public and private archives for historical and administrative purposes. The National Archives currently hold approximately 45 linear kilometres of archival documents and 33,000 microfilms grouped into 12 groups of collections.

DeleteI really like what the lady with the chocolate brown cardigan is wearing. The softness of a cardigan versus the crunchiness of a suit jacket is still very elegant, but I think could suit Stephanie very well. I also really like the bright orange suit jacket on one of the other ladies. Stephanie’s outfit colours are quite good but I think she’d look very well indeed in this season’s chocolate brown.

ReplyDeleteStéphanie's hair is good. I prefer her with loose hair and curls than with an updo which makes her often look older.
ReplyDeleteHer hair has a natural curl, which to me is why it looks so nice, not a forced style. I agree that a cardigan sweater would suit her well. Sometimes a jacket adds bulk
