On October 28, 2026, Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra received representatives of Operation Day’s Work (Operasjon Dagsverk) in an audience at her new office at the Royal Palace in Oslo. Those present included representatives of Operasjon Dagsverk, the Students’ and Academics’ International Assistance Fund, and the South African student organisation Equal Education.
As part of Operation Day’s Work, Norwegian students select an international project to support each year. The proceeds from this year’s campaign will go towards efforts to make schools in South Africa safer and more equitable. The Crown Princess was briefed on the background and objectives of the campaign. Operation Day’s will take place on October 29.
This was Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra’s first audience in her role as Crown Princess, as well as the first to take place in her new office, the Arkadeværelset. Princess Ingrid Alexandra was given her own office at the Royal Palace when she turned 18 and came of age.
