The Duchess of Edinburgh undertook a two-day visit to Cumbria to highlight the importance of sustainable farming, the rural economy, and supporting the skills and development of young farmers. On 9 September 2026, the Duchess visited Low Beckside Farm in Mungrisdale, Nook Farm in Rosthwaite, and Seatoller Farm in Keswick.

DeleteThe trousers are too long to wear with these boots. The body part of the trousers is too short for Duchess Sophie's morphology. In other words the trousers are ill fitting.
DeleteI agree that they are practical hiking trousers. When you’re out walking and bending and stretching the extra material allows for that movement while keeping your leg fully covered. These are normal where I live. If they were slightly wider they’d sit down over the boot and hang a bit better but this shape is also good with runners where the trouser length is correct.

ReplyDeleteYes she is beautiful, but I see her skin is damaged by the sun. She can do laser therapy which will take away the brown spots. Once you had laser therapy it is adviced not to go in the sun anymore unless using a sun cream with a very high protection factor (also when the sun is not shining).
DeleteIt is hard for those of us with sensitive skin and we are more easily damaged. That said, laser therapy is not without risks and pain and NO ONE has to do that to “take away the brown spots” that are actually part of them. I LOVE seeing a Royal who allows herself to be natural and seen as she is without recourse to invasive cosmetic procedures and hope Sophie remains just as she is. So beautiful , no needing to be perfected!
Delete@22:47: having freckles is basically a genetic trait for certain skin types and thus, not necessarily a sun damage. As long as you have not the slightest idea about her genetics and her usage of sun screens, it would be much better to be silent instead of dispersing baseless judgements and suggesting treatments.

ReplyDelete"Practical clothing" (for hiking and/or the countryside) can be perfectly chosen and fitted like anything that is worn for less "practical" occasions. These pants are, sorry to say, outright ridiculous, ill-chosen and ill-fitting and I don't understand why this needs to be explained away into non-existence just because of sympathies for the person's general loveliness. Just look at other royal women how they look like when in the countryside.
