The Duchess of Edinburgh is visiting Cumbria for a two-day royal tour focused on the rural economy, sustainable agriculture and supporting young talent in farming. On September 8, 2026, as Patron of the Addington Fund, the Duchess officially opened Whins Farm near Kendal. She also visited the community initiative Home Grown Here near Penrith.
