On 16 September 2026, Queen Letizia of Span presided over the II Tribute to Nursing, an event bringing together healthcare professionals, experts and institutions under the theme “Caring for the Mind Is Caring for Life”, organised by the newspaper La Razón. Upon arriving at the headquarters of La Razón, Queen Letizia was received by Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence María González Veracruz.

This second edition continued the tribute held last year under the title “Beyond Vocation”, which focused on oncology nursing and the profession’s main challenges. The event once again highlighted the role of nursing in the healthcare system and the need to continue working towards greater recognition of the profession.

More like DoE Sophie's style, floral prints look unprofessional at official events.
Her usual bold colors look better.

I think it’s a very limiting perspective to say that women can’t wear florals if they want to look professional. I’m sick of us having to follow a more masculine style to look professional. Professionalism comes from how we show up, how we act, how we speak - not from floral or block colour outfits.

Love love this dress on her. Now the shoes I like the look from the side but not from the front for some reason. The lady in the blue suit. The skinny short tight pants with the boxy jacket make her look out of proportion. Something just looks off balance.CH has such feminine wearable designs.

  3. I love this dress: so bright and flowy!
But I am not a fan of the shoes. This would have been the perfect opportunity to wear cute pink flats!

Big no for me. Shirtwaist dresses should disappear out of fashion, the longer the better, IMHO. I can't help associating them with "headmistress on her free day going to town, amply covered against male eyes". Terrible. So very much un-Letizia.

  5. J’adore la fluidité de cette robe imprimée aux couleurs vives mais pas du tout le style des chaussures à double brides !

  6. I love the beautiful fuschia colour of the flowers but the print is a bit large. It's just my personal prefererence but smaller prints especially for someone with a slim frame like Letizia is more flattering..

Oh yikes, this dress is not flattering at all on the Queen and the white shoes aren’t helping. Not her best look.
