On 12 September 2026, Duchess Sophie-Dorothée of Württemberg, the daughter of the late Duke Friedrich of Württemberg and Princess Marie of Wied, married Philipp Polack at St. Michael’s Church in Altshausen, Germany. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Altshausen Palace. Duchess Sophie-Dorothée and Philipp Polack reside in London.
For the wedding, Duchess Sophie-Dorothée wore a diamond tiara inherited from Queen Charlotte of Württemberg and passed down as a family heirloom, instead of the traditional Württemberg Bridal Crown.
