On August 7, 2026, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the David Foster Foundation's 40th Anniversary Gala at the Victoria Conference Centre Outdoor Plaza in Victoria, British Columbia. The gala was part of the two-day anniversary celebrations, which will continue on August 8 with a free David Foster and Friends concert at Victoria's Inner Harbour.
The David Foster Foundation provides financial support to Canadian families whose children require life-saving organ transplants, helping cover non-medical expenses such as accommodation, travel, groceries, utilities, and, where necessary, rent or mortgage payments. For the event, the Duchess wore a navy gown by Canadian designer Greta Constantine.

Harry looks like a young version of his Grandfather, Prince Philip, here, when Philip was in the Royal navy. Meghan’s gown is her usual monochromatic style. Nice that she’s supporting a Canadian designer. The pearl earrings are pretty.

حذفMeghan’s hair looks nice but the dress I don’t particularly like. Would have loved to see her in something pretty, floral or highly coloured and feminine. She has the colouring and shape for it.
ردحذفRegarding footwear, both men have handsome black leather that fully fits their feet in (most likely) real comfort. Whereas the pretty green sandals of the lady next to Meghan don’t remotely hold her foot. How did we get to this that for elegant occasions men’s fashion is good for their feet and comfortable - and women’s is foot deforming and uncomfortable?
