Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein have announced the engagement of their son, Prince Georg, to Princess Maria-Nives von der Leyen. Princess Maria-Nives is the youngest daughter of Prince Philipp von der Leyen and Princess Elisabeth von der Leyen. She was born on February 13, 2001, in Landsberg am Lech, Germany.
Prince Georg was born on April 20, 1999, at Grabs Hospital in Switzerland, as the third child of Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie. He currently works in business development in the technology sector in New York. The wedding is expected to take place in Germany in late summer 2027.
