Note: King Harald’s health deteriorated over the weekend. He is receiving antibiotics for a bacterial infection in his bloodstream and has responded to the treatment. According to statements issued by the Royal Palace on August 24 and 25, there have been no significant changes in the King’s condition, and his situation remains stable. The King will remain at Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet, and is on sick leave until further notice.

Oh, my favourite wedding dress of all times, spectacular!
Wishing the CP couple a happy anniversary, though I know that the Norwegian Court is currently dealing with another sanitary emergency.
King Harald was hospitalized in precarious healthy conditions, according to the official announcement from the Palace..
P.Harald has been immediately appointed Regent as it is customary and mandatory under such circumstances.
Wishing a safe recovery to the King as well.

Hello P! Do you mean Crown Prince Haakon is currently regent? Septicaemia is scary at any age and thank goodness he is responding well.

Re the dress, it is beautiful ( though for me too simple to be my favourite). I hadn’t realised until these photos how low it is cut in the back; a very interesting detail. It certainly suits her extremely well. The speech he gave to her at the wedding dinner is one of the most romantic I’ve ever heard ( along with Frederik of Denmark’s speech to Mary).

Ps just one little correction to your flawless English (despite you being Italian, right?). If we say “sanitary” crisis, it would indicated a crisis of cleanliness. We would therefore say a health crisis.

She was a beautiful bride, her sons look very much like her, can hardly tell the difference in some photos.

Through the good times and the worst you can always rely on me, Haakon kept his promise.

Absolutely love the skirt of her wedding dress, seemed frothy yet not fluffy. The sweater and skirt are such a nice casual look, great length, colours are very pretty on her. The print of the skirt is just enough to not make it fussy.

  6. This also one of my top 3 favorite wedding dresses. When she walks, the bottom half of the dress somehow shimmers. It’s so cool.

It sounds like the king is septic. I wish him and his family well. They have gone through so much lately.
