On August 12, 2026, King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) and Queen Suthida of Thailand attended a merit-making ceremony dedicated to the late ancestors at the Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace, held to mark the birthday anniversary of Queen Sirikit. On this occasion, Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti, and Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn also accompanied Their Majesties.

DeleteAlthough I don't speak Italian I think you say that's it's appolling that the servants have to ly down on the floor to serve the queen and king. This is slavery. And awful is too that you are imprisoned when you insult the King.
DeleteThere was a video published in 2020 showing Suthida dressed immaculately submitting to the King and him pouring water on her. It’s a deep submission and culture I don’t understand but perhaps not all about servants.

DeleteQueen Suthida clearly in Christian Louboutin shoes. Also present was the king's other sister, Princess Chulabhorn. I think the cremation of the late Queen Sirikit will take place in a couple of weeks from now. The erection of the Phra Merumat (Mount Meru representation serving as the royal crematorium) is nearly completed, as far as I know.

DeleteAs a German, I can tell you that King Rama X (Vajiralongkorn) has rarely been to Germany since his coronation. Also, Queen Suthida is his only wife, he is long since divorced from the other ladies he'd been married to. The Thai do not allow polygamy. I'd rather you would get yourself informed before commenting.
DeleteHi DSC, you can glean something of this from reputable news sources (FT, BBC, etc). The King’s long stays have been discussed in the German parliament (conducting state affairs on foreign soil). I’m not surprised however that you might not have come across this (and reports of multiple consorts, hedonism, etc) as in Thailand it cannot be spoken of nor reported on as it’s a crown that operates in full opaqueness.

DeleteDear DSC, it’s unusual eh? But it’s quite well documented. He amended the laws so he can rule from abroad without appointing a regent in his absence.
DeleteHe still has a large mansion in Tutzing Starnberger See, that is correct. But he comes no longer that often, or has really long periods of staying, as he used to do before his coronation. In the meantime, he spends the majority of his time actually in Thailand. I did not say that he never visits Germany, but his visits became less frequent. As for the matter of having "two" wives: Thai law only allows monogamy, but naturally as he is the king and has a lot of say (although Thailand is per se a constitutional monarchy, not an absolute one), he would find of course ways to get around specific laws. Sineenat lost her royal status once, has then been re-installed partly after the king had officially married Suthida, and could be viewed as a concubine. Officially, Suthida is his wife and queen. No one else.

Queen Suthida is always beautifully attired and well groomed, her fashion choices are always designed to her shape perfectly. She knows what she likes and what suits her. The jewels are magnificent.
